How do overages work?
Solo has none — if you go past 250 transactions we will point you at Starter rather than send a surprise bill. On Starter and Growth, additional blocks bill at the end of the cycle: $25 per 500 extra on Starter, $25 per 1,000 on Growth. Your base price never changes.
What happens after the trial?
You choose a plan or your account pauses. No surprise charges. Your data stays available for 30 days after a pause.
Can I switch plans?
Upgrade or downgrade any time. Changes take effect on your next billing cycle.
Why is it cheaper than a bookkeeper?
Because the work runs on software rather than hours. A bookkeeping service charges for the time it takes a person to categorise, match and reconcile; Owwyl does that overnight and only asks you about what genuinely needs a decision. You still own the ledger either way.
What if I outgrow Growth?
Get in touch. We price custom for high volume, several entities, or specific requirements.
Do I need Xero already?
No. Owwyl owns your ledger and generates your chart of accounts during onboarding — you never need a Xero or QuickBooks subscription. If you already use one, Owwyl imports it and takes over.
Is my data safe?
AES-256 encryption on all stored tokens. Every record is scoped to your organisation, and isolation is verified by an automated test before each release. Nothing posts to your ledger without your review, and email and bank access are read-only.
Can I cancel any time?
Yes. No contracts, no cancellation fees. Export your data before you go.
